The aroma of saffron and flavor of tea gives it the taste of a café style drink. It is very easy to make it at home and you can enjoy this delicious drink in just a few minutes.
Ingredients for Saffron Iced Tea
Black tea leaves 2 spoons, water 500 ml, green cardamoms 6-8, saffron one pinch, sugar one pinch, hot milk, fresh cream 3 spoons, condensed milk 1 spoon, saffron milk 2 spoons, ice as per requirement.
How to make cold tea with saffron?
- First of all make black tea. Put water in a vessel on the gas to boil, when the water starts boiling, turn off the gas and add crushed green cardamom along with tea leaves. Let the tea steep for about 5 minutes. This method prevents the tea from becoming bitter and brings out more flavor. Filter this tea immediately and keep it in the refrigerator. Use approximately 100 ml of this tea concentrate per serving.
- Now we will make saffron milk. Take some saffron strands and a pinch of sugar in a bowl and then put them in a mortar and grind them finely. Now, pour this mixture into hot milk and keep it aside until the milk cools completely.
- For the saffron cold foam, combine fresh cream, condensed milk and saffron milk in a bowl and whisk well. It has to be whipped until it becomes thick and velvety and is pourable. You can also make it thick by grinding it in a mixer jar.
- Now, to make the drink, add ice to a glass and then add chilled black tea and top the drink with creamy saffron foam. Your refreshing Kesar Cold Foam Ice Tea is ready. Now serve it immediately.
