The two-Test series between India and Sri Lanka will begin on August 15. The BCCI had announced the Indian team for this match a long time ago. However, a major change has been made before the team leaves. Jasprit Bumrah is currently unfit, so he has been dropped from the team. In his place, Jammu and Kashmir’s Aaqib Nabi has been given a chance to join the Indian team for the first time. Now we have to wait and see whether he will get a chance to play or will he be left out.
Meanwhile, the first match of the series will start on August 15, while the Test will begin on August 7, as Team India will play a practice, or warm-up, match against a Sri Lanka XI.
