Lucknow teams announced for the Sub-Junior UP Basketball Championship. The Lucknow District Basketball Association has announced the final teams for the Under-14 boys and girls categories for the 30th Sub-Junior Uttar Pradesh Basketball Championship. The competition will be held in Meerut Cantt from August 4th to 9th. 80 players from the boys category and 62 players from the girls category participated in the trials. Following this, a training camp was held for 25 selected players each from July 20th to August 2nd. Based on performance, fitness, and skills, 12 players each were selected in both categories.
The boys team includes captain Ayushman Kumar, Rudrabhishek, Siddharth Babbar, Udayan Singh, Yuvraj Ayansh, Rishabh Kumar, Suryansh Mishra, Saurav Maurya, Devakar Srivastava, Yusuf Hashmi, Hardik Tiwari, and Tanush Vishwakarma.
The girls team is captained by Anushka Raj. The team includes Pragati Kumari, Mahi Yadav, Adrija Jaiswal, Aadya Mishra, Zoya Tanveer, Shalu Maurya, Javi, Vani, Amaya Nitin, Aliya, and Jessina Rizvi. The boys’ team is coached by Pulkit Sachdeva, the girls’ team coach is Ritu Sonkar, and the manager is Aman Kumar Raj. 24 players are selected.
