BCCI on Ryan ten Doeschate & T Dilip: Assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate and fielding coach T Dilip have retired from Team India. Both played a major role in Team India’s success. However, Ryan and Dilip’s journey with Team India ended after the England tour. Both of them had given emotional reactions to their departure from Team India. Now, the BCCI has broken its silence on the departure of these two coaches from Team India and has issued an official statement thanking them.

BCCI’s big statement on the departure of coaches from Team India

The BCCI posted a post on X for former assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate and fielding coach T. Dilip. They remembered their contributions to Team India and wished them well for the future. They wrote, “Thank you to Assistant Coach Ryan ten Doeschate and Fielding Coach T. Dilip for your outstanding contribution to Team India. Your hard work, professionalism, and efforts behind the scenes played a major role in the team’s success and journey. We wish you both every success in the next chapter of your lives.”

Entry of new fielding coach in Team India

T. Dilip began working with Team India in 2021, and his contract as fielding coach ends in July 2026. During his tenure, the Indian team won numerous titles. The BCCI has now appointed Subhadeep Ghosh, a former Assam cricketer and former fielding coach of the Indian women’s team, to replace T. Dilip.

Ryan ten Doeschate became the assistant coach of the Indian team in July 2024. His contract ended two years later, and he left the team. It’s worth noting that after his departure from Team India, Ryan decided to join the Kolkata Knight Riders. He is the Knight Riders’ new Head of Cricket Strategy.
