The court said that this is basically a matter of alleged economic irregularities and criminal investigation, hence its investigation should proceed in an impartial manner within the ambit of law. Focus will be on impartial investigation of allegations

The petitions demand an independent investigation into the alleged misuse of donations received for the construction of the temple and financial irregularities. At present, the Supreme Court has not commented on the veracity of the allegations, but has only emphasized on ensuring a fair investigation. The court indicated that further legal proceedings would be decided on the basis of facts only after the investigation is completed.
