Harshad Chopda faces eviction calls after explosive fight with Shreya on ‘Lock Upp’
Harshad Chopda has landed in controversy amid his ongoing stint on Lid Up Season 2.
During the recent episode that premiered on Monday, July 20, a simple meal turned into a major point of conflict as Shreya and Shivangi got into a heated argument. Shreya wanted to eat separately, but Shivangi insisted that she remain with the rest of the gang in the hall.
As the argument escalated, the 43-year-old Indian actor intervened, asking Shreya to obey her gang leader’s instructions. However, when Shreya told him to stay out of the matter, he reacted angrily, showed her the middle finger, and walked away.
Shortly after the promo surfaced online, netizens called out the Bepannah star’s disrespectful behaviour, labelling him a “manchild” and demanding his immediate eviction.
“Manchild Harshad. Ekta should deduct 80% of both of them (Shivangi and Harshad) for overacting,” one online user wrote on Reddit.
Another added, “It’s truly shameful. Harshad Chopda was seen showing the middle finger to a girl. Such behavior is disgusting, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. No one should normalize or defend this kind of conduct. SHAME ON HARSHAD CHOPDA.”
“Can’t tolerate him anymore. Literally throw him out,” a third user urged.
Harshad and Shreya have been at odds since the very first week of the show. Early on, the actor accused the podcaster of trying to manipulate him, despite her saying she was only trying to befriend him. Since then, their relationship has remained strained.
