‘It was just a trailer, it will be removed very badly’, CJP warns government
Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has been protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi for almost one and a half months. After the uproar during the Parliament march on July 20, a front has been formed again under the leadership of CJP and leaders of all parties are also supporting it. Now regarding the future strategy, CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka has said that their leadership is not afraid of the National Security Act (NSA) or the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act i.e. UAPA, nor are they afraid of the FIR. He clearly says that he is not going to step down without getting his demands met. CJP says that what happened on July 20 was just a trailer and if the government does not agree then the youth of the country will remove him very badly.
Regarding the march from Jantar Mantar to Parliament on Monday, CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka has said that whatever happened on July 20 is just a trailer. Let us tell you that on Tuesday CJP had again announced the march but later it was withdrawn. On Tuesday itself, Rahul Gandhi had also sat on a dharna near the Prime Minister’s residence. Police and security forces removed them from there after a lot of effort.

What did CJP spokesperson say?
Describing the future plan, CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka has said, ‘This is the biggest movement after independence in the history of India. No one can underestimate the students of this country. It has been 36 hours since July 20 but there are still lakhs of students on the streets of Delhi who want the students to be listened to. What happened on July 20 was the trailer. If the government does not agree then lakhs more people will come. This time we will not stop, we will not remain silent. We have seen a lot of how the police have behaved. The government needs to mend its ways, otherwise the youth of this country will remove them and remove them very badly.
Ashutosh Ranka further said, ‘When did we say that we will not remain silent? Which movement would be more peaceful than this? We have been sitting at Jantar Mantar for 31 days, tell us one incident which did not happen peacefully. An attempt is being made to create a narrative. The march was also peaceful. There was peace where the police brutally beat up the youth.

‘BJP people should also come together’
He further said, ‘We have made a very clear demand that we will not allow any FIR to be lodged against any protestor. This show will not end without him. As far as our leadership is concerned, we are not afraid of any FIR. We are ready to be arrested under UAPA and NSA from day one. We know that our going to jail is a very small thing for the country we are fighting for. The country is uniting. Now we need people from every party to come together. BJP people should also come together. It is important for us to raise the issues of youth.
On the question asked about Rahul Gandhi sitting on a separate dharna, Ashutosh said that it is important to raise the issues of youth, whether someone is doing it under the banner of CJP or separately. Let us tell you that the protest is still going on and Sonam Wangchuk is now admitted in Medanta Hospital.
