It is the sequel to the first generation Watch Ultra, which arrived in July 2024. This time the company has replaced its traditional in-house Exynos chip with Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon chipset, which is considered an important change in terms of smartwatch performance.

The new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has a 47mm premium chassis, which comes with its signature Squircle-shaped dial. This time the biggest update at the hardware level has been seen in the processor. Due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, this watch makes multitasking, health tracking data processing and GPS navigation much more accurate and faster than before.

During the Unpacked event held in Paris/Seoul, apart from Watch Ultra 2, the company also officially introduced Galaxy Watch 9, Galaxy Glasses, Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and Galaxy Z Flip 8 to the world.

In the global market, the single 47mm (Bluetooth + LTE) model of Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has been priced at $699.99 (approximately Rs 68,000).
