Delhi Police in its official ‘X’ The post said that the news circulating on social media that a female protestor has died during the protest at Jantar Mantar is completely wrong. Police clarified that the woman concerned is alive and is being treated at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital.

According to police, doctors at the hospital have confirmed that the woman’s condition is stable and she is out of danger. Delhi Police has appealed to the people to verify any news from official sources before sharing it on social media. Police said that responsible digital behavior means not passing on any information without checking it.

RML Hospital informed about health condition

According to RML Hospital, the condition of the woman who was seriously injured during the protest is improving. She was removed from the ventilator 24 hours ago and is now breathing on her own. She is conscious and following the instructions of the doctors. His condition is stable and treatment is going on under the supervision of doctors.

Policemen and protesters injured in the demonstration

According to Delhi Police, more than 118 policemen and 60 protesters were injured during the CJP protest near Jantar Mantar. Police say that more than 20 police vehicles were also damaged in the stone pelting and violence during the protest.

Security arrangements have been tightened in the entire area. Police have registered several FIRs in different police stations in the matter, and investigation into the violence-related cases is ongoing. The injured policemen and protesters are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
