Shares of Sotefin Bharat, a company making automated car parking systems, were listed with a premium on the BSE SME platform on Friday. The company’s IPO came at a price of Rs 187 per share, while its market entry was at Rs 205. That means, with the listing, investors got a profit of about 9.63 percent.

Even after listing, there was a buying environment in the shares. Within some time the stock reached the upper circuit of Rs 215.25. At this level, the profit of those investing in IPO increased to 15.11 percent. At a time when the market is trading under pressure, the strong listing of Sotefin India came as a relief news for investors.

IPO got good response

Sotefin India’s Rs 90 crore IPO was open from July 16 to July 20. Investors showed good interest in this issue and it was subscribed a total of 3.99 times. The portion reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 2.82 times, for non-institutional investors (NIIs) 6.05 times and for retail investors 3.78 times. The company has issued 48 lakh new shares with face value of Rs 10 under IPO.

Where will the money raised be used?

The company will use the money raised from IPO to expand its business. According to the company, about Rs 20.13 crore will be spent on setting up a new manufacturing facility in Kolkata.

Whereas Rs 8.17 crore will be spent on the needs of the new office premises. Apart from this, Rs 40 crore will be spent to meet working capital requirements, while the remaining amount will be used for general corporate purposes.

What does Sotefin Bharat do?

Sotefin India is a company providing mechanized and automated parking solutions. The company’s portfolio includes Fully Automated Robotic Parking System, Puzzle Parking System, Tower Parking System and Stack Parking System. Along with this, the company also provides Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and after-sales service.

By March 2026, the company had completed 55 projects. At present, work on more than 30 projects is going on in many cities of India and also in America and Dubai. In view of increasing urbanization and parking problem, the company is rapidly increasing its presence in this sector.

How is the financial condition of the company?

The company’s performance remained strong in the financial year 2025-26. During this period, its net profit increased by 66 percent to Rs 17.37 crore. At the same time, the total income of the company increased by more than 44 percent to Rs 118.23 crore.

By the end of March 2026, the company had a total debt of Rs 24.01 crore, while its reserves and surplus stood at Rs 70.57 crore. On the basis of strong financial performance, business expansion plans and better order book, the company made a strong start by giving excellent returns to investors on the very first day of listing.
