Four Flop Films Fear: You must have seen the films of famous actor Jitendra of the 1980s at some time or the other. His role made everyone crazy about him. Actor Jeetendra was considered one of the richest actors of that era. Along with films, he also invested money in real estate. During an interview, Jitendra told about his bungalow, which he had bought from late actor Bharat Bhushan. Jitendra told that he had bought this bungalow built in Pali Hill, a posh area of Mumbai, from Bharat Bhushan at a very low price, which today is worth crores of rupees.
Actor had to sell bungalow due to financial constraints
During an interview, while talking about his bungalow worth crores of rupees, actor Jitendra said that at that time the financial condition of veteran Bollywood actor Bharat Bhushan had become very bad. He was struggling with financial crisis. Due to lack of money he had to sell his bungalow at Pali Hill. Jitendra told that this bungalow was sold for only Rs 4.25 lakh.

Further, while talking about Bharat Bhushan, Jitendra said, “Bharat was a very big and famous superstar of that time. He had worked in superhit films like ‘Baijubawara’. One day he talked about selling his bungalow. Then I discussed it with my father. He said, let us buy this bungalow. Jitendra further told that our family lived a very simple life. We lived in a small room of 20×10 feet, which had a capacity of eight people. The family lived in. So I bought this bungalow of Rs 4.25 lakh and also got a plot of 3,450 square feet.

Today the land is worth Rs 450 crore
During the conversation, Jitendra told that after purchasing the bungalow, four of his films had flopped in a row. After this, he started fearing that his condition might become like that of Bharat Bhushan and he too might have to face financial crisis. Due to this fear, he left that bungalow with his entire family.
However, later this bungalow and its associated property proved to be very beneficial for him. He told that when this bungalow was demolished, Rs 11.5 lakh was received by selling the wood in it. According to Jitendra, the current value of the land on which this bungalow was built is around Rs 450 crore.
