CM Yogi gave a big gift to Gorakhpur, said – Road connectivity has improved in ‘New Uttar Pradesh’
Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated/laid the foundation stone of 14 development projects worth ₹995 crore in Gorakhpur City Assembly constituency. During this he said, today we all have gathered here to give a new gift to Gorakhpur. The 6 lane flyover constructed from Transport Nagar to Padleganj and its 4 lane expansion work towards Deoria Bypass is being inaugurated today. This 2,658 meter long flyover, built at a cost of ₹429 crore, will directly benefit a population of about 50 lakh to 1 crore.

He said, in Gorakhpur we are going to start the construction work of a working women’s hostel in the name of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar ji. Residential facilities will be provided here for 500 working women. Ramgarhtal of Gorakhpur which was once deserted, full of dirt and mosquitoes… today it has become an excellent center of tourism. The livelihood of thousands of people is running through this. Our thinking was to do well and we did well.

The Chief Minister said, the fertilizer factory of Gorakhpur, which was closed since 1990, has become operational again. With its launch, Annadata farmers are getting timely access to fertilizer. It is the result of better law and order and safe environment in the state that about 50 thousand youth have got employment through the industries established in GIDA (Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority) area alone.
He also said, today Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat Express are operating from Gorakhpur, good stations are being built, connectivity has improved and passenger facilities have also expanded.
