Social activist Sonam Wangchuk has ended her 26-day hunger strike. He has taken this decision after meeting BJP president JP Nadda.
Activist Sonam Wangchuk tweeted, “I broke my fast after 26 days in the presence of Union Ministers JP Nadda and Dr Jitendra Singh and senior leaders of the apex body of Leh-Ladakh. Earlier, 65 MPs from various political parties had met me or written to me appealing to break the fast. This decision has been taken after a long discussion considering the various conditions and potential violence in the country.”

Wangchuk had been on a hunger strike for the past 26 days demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in connection with the NEET paper leak. He JP Announcing the end of the fast after discussions with Nadda, who was Dr. was with Jitendra Singh.
A video of the conversation between the two Union Ministers with Sonam Wangchuk in the hospital has also surfaced. In it, JP Nadda says that the government is positive that no case will be filed against anyone who participates in the peaceful protest at Jantar-Mantar. No case will be filed against any of the peaceful protesters who participated in the Parliament march on July 20.
Union Ministers J.P. Nadda and Jitendra Singh met Sonam Wangchuk, who was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram late on Tuesday night. Wangchuk was brought here from Safdarjung Hospital following a court order. The two ministers inquired about Wangchuk’s health, which Dr. Sushila is in ICU 8 of the hospital under the care of Kataria.
