EPFO keeps giving constant alerts
EPFO periodically sends alerts through social media and SMS to pensioners for timely submission of life certificates. According to Regional PF Commissioner Alok Yadav, it is mandatory for every EPFO pensioner to submit digital life certificate every year to continue receiving pension without any hindrance. This certificate is proof of pensioner’s survival and is valid for one year from the date of deposit.
How to check validity of certificate?
To check whether your digital life certificate is still valid or not, pensioners can visit the official website of EPFO and check the validity on ‘Pensioner Portal’. This gives easy information about the date on which the next life certificate is to be deposited.
