Commonwealth Games 2026 India Schedule And Athletes: After the conclusion of the Football World Cup 2026, now the eyes of the sports world are on the Commonwealth Games 2026. This multi-sport event to be held in Glasgow, Scotland will be held from 23 July to 2 August 2026. This time India is fielding its players in 13 sports, where the country’s veterans and young stars will challenge for medals.
The good news for Indian fans is that the time difference between Glasgow and India is such that most of the matches can be watched in the evening and night. The competitions will start at 1:30 pm Indian time, while the major medal matches will start from 9:30 pm and continue till late night.
Indian players will be under watch
This time India’s hopes will rest on Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, Mirabai Chanu, Lovlina Borgohain, Srihari Nataraj, Murali Sreeshankar, Tejaswin Shankar and many other players. Although badminton, wrestling and shooting have not been included in this edition, the Indian contingent is still full of strong contenders.
Many star players of India will enter the Commonwealth Games 2026 with the intention of winning medals.
