Commonwealth Games 2026 has started from 23 July. Many medals will be expected from Indian players on the second day of the Commonwealth Games 2026 held in Glasgow, Scotland, i.e. today, 24th July. India got a good start on the first day. Boxer Lovlina Borgohain is assured of at least a bronze medal by reaching the semi-finals without even playing a match. Apart from this, there will be preliminary matches in boxing, while in swimming and para swimming, Indian players will try to make it to the finals through heats. The Indian men’s team will start its campaign in gymnastics and the competitions will continue in lawn balls also.

Indian boxing team’s star player Lovlina Borgohain has already secured India’s first medal by reaching the semi-finals. Now on the second day, Indian boxers will compete in their respective preliminary matches and will try to make it to the next round. In artistic gymnastics, the Indian men’s team will compete in the team finals and individual qualification. Whereas in lawn balls, group matches of men’s singles and women’s pairs will be played.
