Hamburger SV and Arsenal FC remain in direct contact over a permanent transfer for Fabio Vieira this summer.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg can confirm that concrete figures have now been exchanged between the two clubs.
On Wednesday, HSV’s new sporting director Kathleen Krüger even confirmed that HSV are confident of retaining the midfielder.
All of HSV’s new signings are independent of a potential Vieira deal and the 26-year-old is hoping for a total agreement.
The Portuguese star loves the club, the city and the coach, with a permanent transfer remaining his preferred option.
Vieira has already joined Arsenal’s pre-season training camp, but all parties are working towards finding a solution.
Last season, Vieira produced 7 goals and 4 assists in 29 Bundesliga games for the Hanseatic club to help them stay up.
