Wolfsburg sign Muhammed Damar from Hoffenheim

VfL Wolfsburg have officially completed the signing of 22-year-old attacking midfielder Muhammed Damar from Hoffenheim. The German U21 international has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until June 2031.

Damar impressed during his recent loan spell with SV Elversberg, attracting interest from several clubs before choosing Wolfsburg. According to reports, the transfer fee is around €6 million, with additional bonuses and a sell-on clause included in the deal.

Speaking after the transfer, Wolfsburg sporting director Pirmin Schwegler praised Damar’s technical quality and potential, saying the club is delighted to have secured one of Germany’s most promising young attacking midfielders.
