Important update for train commuters: Several Ahmedabad Mandal trains canceled due to heavy waterlogging

Due to heavy rains and serious waterlogging situation in the Bilimora section of the Western Railway, train operations have been temporarily suspended by the railway system, giving top priority to safety. Due to this unexpected situation, the schedule of several important trains running between Gujarat and Mumbai has been affected and important decisions have been taken by the system keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers.

President Express trains canceled on July 24

Keeping in view the safety of passengers, the system has completely canceled some major express trains on July 24, 2026. Mainly number of carriages, 22954 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Gujarat Superfast Express 20959 Valsad – Vadnagar Superfast Express 12010 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Shatabdi Express 20902 Gandhinagar Capital – Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express 19034 Ahmedabad – Valsad Gujarat Queen Express 12934 Bandra Terminus – Ahmedabad Karnavati Express 19417 Borivli – Ahmedabad Express

List of affected local and passenger trains

Apart from long-distance trains, MEMU and passenger trains running for local passengers have also been severely affected due to the waterlogging. Train number 69185 Ahmedabad – Viramgam Memu and train number 59510 Viramgam – Mehsana passenger train have also been temporarily canceled today. As soon as the situation in the region returns to normal, operations are being carried out on a war footing basis by the Railway Department.
