Fans will have to wait a little more, Ramayan trailer not released, reason revealed
New Delhi . Fans waiting to see the trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Yash-starrer mega budget film Ramayana will have to be a little more patient for now. The much-awaited trailer, scheduled to release on July 24, has been postponed at the last minute. Although fans are definitely disappointed by this decision, the makers of the film say that this decision is part of a larger global strategy and its aim is to present the film internationally in a grander manner.
The film’s producer Namit Malhotra shared the information about the postponement of the trailer launch through social media. He told that it was his longtime desire that Ramayana should reach the audience not only in India but all over the world. Now this dream is about to come true as there is a global partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment for the film. For this reason, it has been decided to release the trailer simultaneously internationally so that audiences across the world can get the first glimpse of this film simultaneously.
Namit Malhotra in his message said that this will be a proud moment in the more than a hundred year long history of Indian cinema. He believes that Indian cultural heritage like Ramayana will now be presented on a big global platform so that the world will be able to know Indian culture and mythology more closely. He also expressed his gratitude to all the fans who had faith in the film and gave a positive message to the youth of the country by calling them the future of India.
Earlier last week, the film’s trailer was shown to select media representatives and a few fans during a special screening at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. After this it was expected that it would be officially released to everyone on July 24. Meanwhile, at San Diego Comic Con, Ranbir Kapoor, Yash director Nitish Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra participated in a special panel discussion. It was believed that the trailer would be released after this international event but later the makers decided to push it forward.
Ramayana is being counted among the most ambitious films of Indian cinema. This film will be released in two parts. The first part will be released in theaters on the occasion of Diwali 2026 while the second part will be released next year on Diwali 2027. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram while Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Mother Sita. South Indian superstar Yash is playing the role of Ravana, about which there is a lot of excitement among the audience.
The star cast of the film is also very strong. In this, Sunny Deol, Hanuman, Ravi Dubey, Laxman, Arun Govil, Dashrath, Lara Dutta, Rakul, Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, Kunal Kapoor and many other actors will be seen in important roles. The audience has high expectations from this film being made with a big budget, state-of-the-art visual effects and international level technology.
At present, the makers have not announced the new release date of the trailer but they say that the wait will end soon and the trailer will be presented simultaneously across the world in a grand style. In such a situation, now the eyes of the fans are fixed on the next official update of the film.
