Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ created a stir at the box office, earned more than Rs 78 crore on the first day

The Tamil version of the film recorded a theater occupancy of 68.31 percent on the first day. The morning show had 73.85 percent viewership, while the afternoon show had 62.46 percent occupancy. 63.62 percent audience attendance was recorded in the evening show and 73.31 percent audience attendance was recorded in the night show. This shows that the audience remained enthusiastic about the film throughout the day. The total occupancy of the film in India was around 41.6 percent. If we look at the language, the Tamil version earned the most. The Tamil language film did a business of around Rs 36.50 crore on the first day. Apart from this, the Telugu version earned Rs 2.75 crore and the Hindi version earned Rs 1.75 crore.
