Malihabad: Painful death of 11 year old Shiva due to wall collapse in Khadauha.

Lucknow. The torrential rain that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Khadauha village of Rahimabad police station area of the capital Lucknow became a deep wound of life for a family. Due to continuous rain, the mud wall of an old mud house suddenly collapsed. At the time of the accident, 11-year-old Shiva, who was playing in the alley outside the house, got buried under the debris of the wall. By the time the villagers pulled him out after a lot of efforts, he was already dead. This painful incident caused a wave of mourning in the entire village. His maternal uncle’s son Krishna, who was playing with Shiva, narrowly escaped.

According to the information, this accident happened near the old kutcha house of village resident Sunil, which is located near Ambedkar Park. Shiva and his cousin brother Krishna were playing in the corridor of the house on Saturday afternoon during the rain. Then suddenly the dilapidated and weakened mud wall due to rain fell towards the two children. As soon as the debris fell, there was chaos nearby. Krishna somehow came out safely, but Shiva got buried under the heavy debris.

Another child present nearby at the time of the incident raised an alarm and informed the villagers about the accident. As soon as the information was received, nearby people and family members reached the spot and started relief work without wasting time. The villagers removed the soil and debris by working hard for about 20 minutes. After a lot of efforts, Shiva was taken out, but by then his breathing had stopped. As soon as the death of the innocent child was confirmed, there was chaos among the family members and the atmosphere of the village became completely sad.

It is being told that Shiva was a favorite of his family. His family consists of parents, two brothers and a sister. The family is in bad shape due to the untimely death of their son. Hearing the mother’s lamentation, the eyes of the people present at the spot also became moist. The people of the village also expressed condolences to the family, calling this incident very sad.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Rahimabad police station reached the spot and inspected the spot. Police have initiated necessary legal action. In the preliminary investigation, it is believed that due to continuous rain, the kutcha and dilapidated wall had become weak, due to which this accident occurred.

Such incidents during the rainy season indicate how important it is to timely inspect and repair old and dilapidated kutcha houses. Even today, many families in rural areas are forced to live in such houses, which can become the cause of accidents at any time during heavy rains. Local people have demanded from the administration that a survey of dilapidated houses in the villages should be conducted and such buildings should be identified, so that no other family has to suffer such pain in future.
