Prayagraj, Amrit Vichar. At the “School Ki Goonj” program held in Prayagraj on Saturday, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, urged youth to adopt the path of love and affection instead of hatred to change the current system. He stated that he stands with the youth in their fight and will continue to do so. Rahul Gandhi fiercely targeted the central government on issues related to employment, education, data, and the future of the youth.
Speaking at an event held at KP Ground, Rahul Gandhi said that the country’s youth possess the potential and data, but the system has trapped them in a kind of “machines.” He alleged that this system has led to a decline in employment opportunities and increased control over universities.
‘The data is yours, the pain is yours and the wealth is theirs?’
Pointing to photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat displayed on the stage, Rahul Gandhi said that the data and potential belong to the youth, but the wealth and power are in the hands of a few. He said that the youth need to understand this system and change it.
Referring to the youth protests in Delhi, he said that the youth served as a torch in the darkness and awakened the nation’s students. Rahul said that the youth faced fear and raised their voices not with hatred, but with love.
I want to open a shop of love
The Congress leader said that India’s culture is one of truth and non-violence. No student should harbor hatred. He told the youth that they must fight their battles with love. Rahul Gandhi said that young people must unite and raise their voices for systemic change. He assured them that he would stand with them in this struggle.
Told data the strength of the country
Describing India’s vast data base as the nation’s capital and strength, Rahul Gandhi said that in the 21st century, the development of artificial intelligence (AI) is being driven by data. Therefore, the country’s future will be shaped by data and the potential of its youth. He alleged that young people’s data is being taken from them and given to large companies, and they are constantly being engaged in watching and creating reels. Rahul called this a 21st-century “addiction.”
Attack on the government regarding education and employment
Rahul Gandhi said that huge sums of money are collected from young families every year in the name of education, but a degree or certificate does not guarantee employment after completing studies. He alleged that government policies have reduced opportunities for manufacturing, entrepreneurship, public sector, and government jobs. Citing the increasing use of AI, he said that employment opportunities are also being limited in the corporate sector, causing hardship for young people.
Questions also arise regarding appointments in universities
Rahul Gandhi alleged that individuals associated with the RSS are being appointed to key positions in universities and educational institutions. He said this is affecting freedom of thought and education in the institutions. During the event, Rahul Gandhi also interacted with several young people and students who had come to the stage and listened to their views on the current situation.
Attempt to show black flag while leaving Anand Bhavan
Earlier, while Rahul Gandhi was leaving Anand Bhavan for KP Ground, some people allegedly attempted to show him a black flag. According to Congress leaders, party workers foiled the protest. Local Congress leader Irshad Ullah alleged that the party had already informed the intelligence department about the possibility of a protest against Rahul Gandhi, but despite this, adequate security arrangements were not made. He described the incident as a failure of the police and administration. However, there was no immediate detailed response from the administration regarding the black flag incident.
