‘The Odyssey’ crosses $1 billion mark
“The Odyssey” has earned $429.6 million in North America and $578.8 million internationally in three weeks. This brings the film’s total to $1.009 billion. It surpassed the $1.008 billion lifetime gross of Christopher Nolan’s “THE DARK KNIGHT,” released in 2008. It now needs approximately $73 million more to surpass “THE DARK KNIGHT RISES”‘s $1.081 billion mark. According to trade analysts, the film could reach this mark by the end of its fourth weekend.
