Jio New OTT Pass Launched: For Jio users who want to watch movies, web series, live sports, and TV content, the company has introduced new long-term OTT passes. Reliance Jio has added two new plans for Rs 550 and Rs 2,000 to its existing Rs 200 OTT pass.
The new plans offer customers high-speed data with extended validity, unlimited 5G, access to 15 premium OTT apps, and over 1,000 live TV channels on JioTV. However, these OTT passes are only available to customers with an active base mobile plan. Customers using voice-only plans will not be able to avail these passes.
Jio OTT Pass price and validity
Jio’s Rs. 550 OTT pass comes with a validity of 84 days. It is available only to customers with an active base plan with 84 days or an annual recharge.
Meanwhile, the Rs. 2,000 OTT pass comes with a validity of 365 days. This plan is only available to users with a 1-year Jio recharge active on their mobile number. Additionally, the company’s existing Rs. 200 OTT pass will continue to be valid with a validity of 28 days.
Data and OTT facilities will be available in OTT pass
In these three OTT passes of Jio, customers will be given high-speed data for different periods.
30GB high-speed data in the Rs 200 pass
90GB high-speed data in the Rs 550 pass
365GB high-speed data in the Rs 2000 annual pass
Apart from this, customers will also get unlimited 5G data and access to many premium OTT platforms.
Longer term passes will offer more savings
Jio’s new OTT pass offers customers savings compared to older options. Previously, a ₹200 pass for 84 days would cost ₹600 if purchased three times, but now a ₹550 pass will offer the same duration at a lower price.
Similarly, earlier customers had to spend around Rs 2400 for a year, but by taking the new Rs 2000 OTT pass, there will be a saving of up to Rs 400.

Access to over 1000 live channels on JioTV
Customers who subscribe to the OTT pass will have access to over 1,000 live TV channels through JioTV, including popular channels like Star Plus HD, Colors HD, SET HD, Sun TV HD, Discovery, and Cartoon Network.
According to the company, this package will provide customers with entertainment benefits worth over ₹1,500 per month. The new ₹550 and ₹2,000 OTT passes will be available starting August 7th via the MyJio app, Jio’s official website, and authorized retail stores.
