Tezzbuzz Desk – Ranbir Kapoor and Yash starrer film ‘Ramayana’ is currently one of the most talked about films of Indian cinema. Producer Namit Malhotra is preparing this mega budget film under the direction of Nitish Tiwari on a large scale. Considering the grandeur of the film, now a big update has come out regarding its promotion. According to reports, hundreds of crores of rupees will be spent on the promotion of the film.

Recently the trailer of the film was expected to be released, but the makers postponed it for the time being. Many fans were disappointed due to the postponement of the trailer. Earlier, the film’s announcement video and ‘Rama Glimpses’ were released, which received mixed reactions on social media. Some viewers also said that the visuals of the film lacked a glimpse of Indian culture.

Now according to a new report, Sony Pictures, which is handling the international distribution of the film, is preparing to spend around Rs 235 crore for its promotion globally. At the same time, the producers of the film will also invest approximately Rs 140 crore separately for promotion.

If both the figures are added, then a total of more than Rs 375 crore is likely to be spent on the promotion of ‘Ramayana’. This amount is so big that many films can be produced in the Indian film industry with this budget.

‘Ramayana’, being made with an estimated budget of around Rs 4000 crore, is being considered as the most ambitious project of Indian cinema. At the same time, it is clear from the heavy promotional strategy that full preparations are being made to include ‘Ramayana’ among the biggest films of Indian cinema at the global level.
