New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi had released the video after the huge uproar over NEET UG paper leak and other such matters. In the video, PM Modi had promised the candidates and students that along with making the law more stringent, important steps will also be taken to stop the incidents of paper leaks. Now Central Government Minister Jitendra Singh will present the amended bill on paper leak in Parliament on Monday. After discussion, it will be passed and implemented immediately. The provisions of this bill have been made very strict and accountability of everyone in the paper leak and punishment if found guilty has been fixed.

In case of paper leak, investigation will be conducted by STF. Which has been required to be completed within 2 months. Investigation of all pending paper leak cases will also be handed over to STF. The provision of the amended bill states that the governments of all the states will establish fast track courts after talking to their respective High Courts. This fast track court will give its verdict in the paper leak case in 3 months. Hearings will be held in these courts every day. Due to special reasons, the court will be able to adjourn the proceedings any day. The responsibility of hearing all pending paper leak cases will be given to the fast track court only.

If the amendment bill related to paper leak is passed, a special public prosecutor will be appointed for trial in the fast track court. Who will advocate on behalf of the government. Apart from this, there are also strict provisions for the culprits and institutions related to paper leak. The person involved in the paper leak has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50 lakh. Whereas, if the organization providing the examination is found guilty of paper leak, it will be fined Rs 5 crore and will be blacklisted for 8 years. In the amended bill, there is a provision of 5 to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5 crore for the people related to the management of the service provider organization on paper leak. Those who leak papers systematically will have to face 7 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10 crore.
