India’s board of control for cricket (BCCI) has stated through an official tweet that the young right-arm bowler was unavailable to be picked owing to a left hamstring niggle.
The bowler faced trouble from a left hamstring strain at the midway point of his spell in the 90-run demolition of the opposition team in the 2nd T20I game on Saturday.

The official update regarding the fast bowler came directly through a social media statement released by the Indian cricket board ahead of the match. The BCCI stated that Prince Yadav was unavailable for selection in the third T20I due to a hamstring niggle which he sustained while bowling in the second T20I against Zimbabwe. The 24-year-old seamer walked off the field after clutching his left hamstring in his second over on Saturday, preventing him from completing his quota. Team doctors advised complete rest to prevent aggravating the strain further before the team returns to India.
