Big impact of NEET Protest, TCS changed office plan in Delhi, employees asked to shift to Noida-Gurugram immediately.

TCS Delhi Office Shifting: The country’s well-known IT service provider company Tata Consultancy Services or TCS has had to take a major administrative decision amid the ongoing student protests in Delhi. Let us tell you that the impact of the ongoing movement against NEET paper leak in Jantar Mantar and surrounding areas of the capital is now visible on the corporate sector as well. In view of the situation, the company has issued a new advisory for the employees of its Delhi campus.

Delhi office affected by student movement

Reports have revealed that traffic and security arrangements have been affected due to the demonstration of student organizations and Cockroach Janata Party around the TCS campus near the PTI building in Central Delhi. In which due to continuous protests, problems of employees in commuting to office have increased. Keeping this in view, the company has taken this step as a precautionary measure so that both the safety and functioning of the employees are not affected.

Advice to work from Noida and Gurugram

In the internal advisory issued by the company, it has been said that for the time being, the employees working in the Delhi office should report from the TCS Delivery Center located in Noida or Gurugram. Employees for whom it is not possible to reach both these places have also been given the option to seek relief under special category.

Exemption will be given under calamity emergency

At the same time, it has been clearly stated in the advisory that the employees who cannot come to Noida or Gurugram office can demand exemption from coming to the office under the Calamity Emergency category. Let us tell you that the company has currently implemented this system as an emergency arrangement for two days so that the employees do not face traffic jam or any unpleasant situation on the way.

No change in work from office policy

But in this change, TCS has clarified that this decision is limited to Delhi campus only and no change has been made in the work from office policy of the company. As before, the company continues to maintain its policy of working from office five days a week. Non-compliance of rules may affect the bonus and performance pay of employees. Whereas in NCR, TCS already has big delivery centers in Noida and Gurugram. This is why the company was able to shift employees to alternative locations without stopping work. Regarding which it is believed that as soon as the situation becomes normal in Delhi, the regular arrangement of employees will be restored again.
