AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has given an open offer of alliance to Samajwadi Party. He said that our party does not want BJP government to be formed in UP. I am ready to join hands with Akhilesh. At a program in Moradabad district, Owaisi said that Muslims will no longer spread carpets. We also want equality now. Our fight is not against any religion.
In his address, Owaisi said, ‘We were never and will never be against any religion. Our fight was not and will never be against any religion. Our fight is a fight for respect, rights, justice and equity. Now we do not want to sit down on a carpet. Now we want equality. If there is a chair and Akhilesh sits on the chair, then Owaisi will put his feet in front of that chair and demand rights and justice.

Owaisi offered to contest elections with Samajwadi Party from the stage itself. Said that now is the right time. Don’t cry later that Owaisi has caused harm. However, Samajwadi Party has not yet reacted to his statement.

Owaisi said, ‘I have said it before and am saying it even today that the Majlis does not want the BJP government to be formed again in Uttar Pradesh. I am ready to shake hands. I am ready to form an alliance. Today is the time… talk. Don’t cry after the elections are over. We do not want BJP to come to power again. You say that we suffer loss due to Owaisi fighting. Come on, I am ready to fight together with you.

Owaisi’s Bihar strategy in UP
There are assembly elections in UP next year i.e. in 2027. The main contest is between the ruling BJP and SP. There is a sizeable population of Muslim community in the state. It is believed that SP has a strong hold on this vote bank. Owaisi’s continuous programs in UP have increased the problems of SP. The Hyderabad MP has given the same open offer in UP as he gave to Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar. Although Tejashwi did not shake hands with him.
