Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian dedicated 3 new Aam Aadmi Clinics built at a cost of Rs 76.41 lakh in Sahnewal Assembly constituency.
Sahnewal, Ludhian- With an aim to provide good quality and free health care services to the people of the state near their homes, three new Aam Aadmi Clinics built by the Punjab Government at a cost of Rs 76.41 lakh were dedicated to the people in Sahnewal Assembly constituency today. These clinics were inaugurated by Punjab Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian. On this occasion, Health Department officials, representatives of other government departments, local public representatives and a large number of local residents were present.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian said that common man clinics have been prepared and dedicated to the people at a cost of Rs 27.96 lakh in Badal Flat, Mundian Kalan, Rs 22.06 lakh in Purana Bazaar, Sahnewal and Rs 26.39 lakh in village Unchi Mangli. He said that these clinics will play an important role in providing basic health services to the local people near their homes.
The Cabinet Minister said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to providing better, free and good health services to every section of the state. With the formation of Aam Aadmi Clinic, people are getting free medical advice, essential medicines, various types of tests and initial treatment facilities at one place, due to which people are saving both time and money.
He said that experienced doctors, nursing staff and other health workers have been deployed in these clinics so that every patient can get timely and good quality treatment. He said that now people will not need to go to distant hospitals for minor diseases, rather they will be able to get treatment in their own area.
Mundian said that the Punjab government is continuously working to bring revolutionary changes in the health sector and Aam Aadmi Clinics are an important part of this mission. He appealed to the people to take maximum advantage of the free services provided in these clinics, get their health checked from time to time and contribute to building a healthy Punjab.
On this occasion, Senior Medical Officer (SMO) of Civil Hospital Sahnewal, Dr. Ramesh Kumar also gave information about the facilities available in Aam Aadmi Clinics and assured that every possible health service will be provided to the people in a transparent and good manner. During the event, local residents welcomed the initiative of the Punjab Government and said that the opening of the new Aam Aadmi Clinic will directly benefit thousands of people in the area and will make health services more accessible.
