Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s explosive innings, India defeated Zimbabwe and made a clean sweep in the T20 series.

Harare. The Indian cricket team defeated Zimbabwe by 35 runs in the third and final T20 match and won the three-match series 3-0.

Team India, which recently regained the top position in the ICC T20 rankings, maintained its excellent form with this victory.

After winning the toss and batting first, India scored 192 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Zimbabwe team could score only 157 runs in 20 overs and India won the match by 35 runs.

The hero of India’s victory was young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He played a brilliant inning of 81 runs in 49 balls and took the team to a strong score. His opening partner Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring only 02 runs.

After this, Ishan Kishan contributed 29 runs and captain Shreyas Iyer contributed 27 runs. In the last overs, Rinku Singh played a quick inning of 25 runs in 14 balls and took the team’s score to 192.

Zimbabwe had a bad start while chasing the target. Like the first match, fast bowler Mayank Yadav gave a great start to India by dismissing Brian Bennett on the very first ball of the innings.

Mayank took three wickets with his fast and accurate bowling and maintained constant pressure on the opposition batsmen. Debutant Ashok Sharma also took his first wicket in international cricket.

Although he missed a simple catch during his spell, he later clean bowled Tadivanashe Marumani to register the first international wicket of his career.

Although the fielding of the Indian team was not as expected and the players dropped many easy catches, yet the bowlers performed brilliantly and did not allow Zimbabwe to reach the target.

This series win was also special for India because recently the team has again achieved the position of number-1 team in the world in the ICC T20 rankings.

India had slipped from the top position after losing the series against Ireland and England, but on the basis of three consecutive wins against Zimbabwe, it once again strengthened its hold on the top position.
