In Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, an eight-month pregnant woman was murdered by her husband with a sickle. Based on the statement of the five-year-old son, the police have arrested the accused. According to reports, the accused husband is addicted to gambling and drugs. There used to be frequent fights between husband and wife on this issue. It is being told that the accused husband chopped his wife with a sickle in front of his five-year-old son and two-year-old daughter. Later tried to mislead the police.
The incident took place in Bijrari village of Panwadi police station in Mahoba district. The deceased woman was identified as Manisha. The name of the accused husband is Hanif Mansoori. Police say that Hanif has sold most of his land. Along with alcohol, he is addicted to gambling.

hit wife after argument
On the day of the incident i.e. on Saturday, Hanif returned home drunk. Then an argument started between his wife Manisha and him. The matter escalated so much that the accused picked up a sickle and attacked the pregnant wife fatally. The woman died on the spot. The five-year-old son and two-year-old daughter saw all this before their eyes.
Told a false story to the police
The accused himself informed the police about the incident. Fabricated a false story to escape. But the son told the police everything truthfully. After this the police arrested Hanif Mansoori and sent the woman’s body for post-mortem.

Manisha’s brother Naseem Mansoori alleges that the accused husband had kicked his sister out of the house several times. Used to beat her often. The matter also reached the police.

Father asked for strict punishment
Brother told that Manisha was eight months pregnant. He got married in the year 2021. The father of accused Hanif Mansoori says that he has committed a heinous crime. He also threw me out of the house four years ago. He demanded death sentence for his son.
