The police has arrested the accused who chatted with a minor girl resident of New Azad Nagar of Sen West Para, Commissionerate Kanpur Police Station, trapped her on Mauj App, took her to Agra, raped her and left her at Kanpur Central, and sent her to jail. According to the information received from the Commissionerate Police, on 7.07.2026, information was given by the complainant resident of New Azad Nagar, Kanpur Nagar at Police Station Sen West Para that “His daughter is about 13 years old and studies in class 7. On 2/7/2026, I saw my daughter chatting on MOJ APP with a boy named Krishna on her mobile, then I reprimanded her and explained.
Due to which on 6/7/2026, at around 4.30 pm, my daughter had gone from home to Priyadarshini School, Gopal Nagar on the pretext of doing coaching and from there she went somewhere without informing. When it got very late in the evening, we family members tried hard to find him but could not find him. When we came back home, my elder daughter found a note which was in my younger daughter’s handwriting. My minor daughter has been lured away by Krishna, the boy who chatted on MOJ APP.
On the basis of the above information, a case was registered in Police Station Sen West Para. During investigation, it was found that the above accused Krishna, who is originally a resident of Agra, used to chat with Vadini’s daughter related to the above case on MOJ APP and at the same time, after luring her with his words, she called her out of the house on 6.7.2026 and took her with him to Agra near Priyadarshini School, where he raped her and after two days, left her near Kanpur Central Station and ran away.
Subsequently, medical examination of the victim was conducted and after recording her statement before the Magistrate, POCSO Act was added to the said case. Since Krishna, the wanted accused in the said case, used to CHAT on the above mentioned MOJ APP. Outpost in-charge New Azad Nagar and Mission Shakti in-charge laid a trap and called him to Kanpur Central station on MOJ APP itself. Where the accused Krishna mentioned above has been arrested.
