Traffic is being disrupted daily due to potholes, waterlogging and debris on the roads. The road from Chaka Block intersection to COD Gate, from COD Gate to FCI Gate and the overbridge built near it is in a very worrying condition. As we move from Chaka Block intersection to COD Gate, there are huge potholes on the roads and the problem of water filling in those potholes has become common. Due to this, drivers and pedestrians are facing a lot of trouble.
The situation is worse near Shem Star School located at Machli Gate. Here, after digging the drain on the roadside, the debris has been left on the road itself. Due to fallen debris and dug drains, it has become difficult for people to move around and there is a problem of traffic jam every day. During the rainy season, the risk of accidents has also increased due to water filling in the pits. There is a lot of anger among the local people towards the administration. People have demanded that the roads should be repaired as soon as possible and the debris should be removed and the traffic should be made smooth, so that the common people can get relief.
