The BJP has intensified preparations to bring its organization into full election mode for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. State President Pankaj Chaudhary has assigned responsibilities to senior leaders for six organizational regions and seven fronts. Rampratap Singh Chauhan, Geeta Shakya, Shankar Lodhi, Dilip Patel, Abhijat Mishra, and Ramesh Singh have been appointed in-charge of different regions.
Senior leaders have been given charge of seven fronts. The party’s focus is now on strengthening its organization from the booth to the regional level, as well as strengthening its hold among backward, Dalit, women, youth, and farmer communities. These appointments are being considered a significant organizational exercise by the BJP in preparation for the 2027 assembly elections.
These leaders got command in six areas
According to the responsibilities assigned by the BJP, State General Secretary Rampratap Singh Chauhan has been made in-charge of the Western region, Geeta Shakya of the Braj region, Shankar Lodhi of the Kanpur region, Dilip Patel of the Awadh region, and Abhijat Mishra of the Gorakhpur region. State Vice President Ramesh Singh has been given the responsibility of the Kashi region. Through these regional in-charges, the party is preparing to accelerate organizational activities in the districts and divisions. Along with increasing organizational activity before the elections, regional political and social equations will also be monitored.
Responsibility of seven fronts also decided
The BJP has also appointed different leaders in charge of seven fronts. Rajesh Chaudhary has been given the responsibility of the Youth Front, Sanjay Rai the Backward Class Front, and Dr. Dharmendra Singh the Scheduled Caste Front. Kameshwar Singh will be in charge of the Women’s Front, Dr. Priyanka Rawat the Scheduled Tribe Front, Devesh Kori the Minority Front, and Shankar Giri the Farmers’ Front.
Responsibility for headquarters and media was also divided.
To ensure smooth functioning of the organization, responsibilities have also been assigned at the state headquarters. MLC Govind Narayan Shukla has been appointed headquarters in-charge, while Yatendra Sharma has been assigned media in-charge. Braj Bahadur will be the coordinator of the expansion plan. Archana Mishra has been appointed coordinator of “Mann Ki Baat” and Rahul Valmiki has been appointed co-coordinator.
Special focus on social equations
This new BJP system places special emphasis on social alignment. By assigning separate responsibilities to the backward, scheduled caste, women, youth, and farmer fronts, the party is preparing to increase organizational activism among these groups. In view of the 2027 elections, the responsibility of strengthening communication between the organization and the public is also considered crucial for the area in-charges and front in-charges.
The BJP is now trying to fully activate its organization well before the elections. Area in-charges will oversee organizational activities in districts and divisions, while front in-charges will expand the party’s reach among their respective social groups.
The new responsibilities clearly indicate that the BJP has accelerated organizational preparations for Mission 2027. The party is pursuing a strategy of strengthening its machinery down to the booth level before the elections, leveraging the experience and organizational network of senior leaders.
