Indian Idol 16 Winner: Jyotirmayee Nayak became the winner of ‘Indian Idol 16’, won a cash prize of lakhs along with the trophy.

The country’s most popular singing reality show ‘Indian Idol 16’ has finally found its winner. After a brilliant competition that lasted for several months, Jyotirmayee Nayak won the trophy of this season. Her brilliant singing and powerful performance in the grand finale won the hearts of the audience as well as the judges. Tanishk Shukla was the first runner-up and Manraj Veer Singh was the second runner-up.

The grand finale episode of the show was full of music, entertainment and emotions. There was a close contest between the top 3 finalists, but in the end Jyotirmayee Nayak won by getting the most love and votes from the audience.

Tanishq and Manraj became runner-up

The first runner-up of this season was Tanishk Shukla and the second runner-up was Manraj Veer Singh. Both were given a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh each for their excellent performance. Whereas in the finale race, Ms Bosu was eliminated after the spotlight round. Apart from this, Anshika Chonkar and Suhail Sufi were also eliminated due to less votes. Both the participants were honored with a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh each.

Judges and special guests added color to the finale

Badshah, Kumar Sanu and Shreya Ghoshal were present as judges in the grand finale of ‘Indian Idol 16’. However, Vishal Dadlani could not reach the studio due to some reason and he encouraged all the participants by joining the show through video call. Actress Shehnaz Gill arrived as a special guest in the finale. He interacted with the contestants and praised their wonderful journey. Her presence also added a touch of glamor to the show.

This performance won the hearts of the audience

Many memorable performances were seen in the grand finale. Famous singer Usha Uthup electrified the atmosphere with her spectacular performance on her superhit songs including ‘Rambha Ho’. Veteran singer Kumar Sanu took the audience into nostalgic memories by performing on many of his popular songs including ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen’. The final performance of the contestants was also the biggest attraction of the show, where every contestant tried his best to win with his best singing.

The memorable journey ended after 81 episodes

Based on the theme ‘Playlist of Memories’, ‘Indian Idol 16’ started in October 2025 and will conclude with the grand finale on 26 July 2026. Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani and Badshah served as judges throughout this season. This time the grand finale was telecast as a two-day special event. On the first day i.e. Saturday, the 81st episode featured celebrity performances and celebrations, while the winner was announced on Sunday.
