‘Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation is just the beginning’, Wangchuk said after discharge
Social activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has become the face of the movement against irregularities in the NEET (UG) examination, has said that the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is just the first step towards education reforms. He says that the problems of the education system will not end just by changing the ministers. For this, major and long-term reforms will have to be made in the entire education system. Sonam Wangchuk gave this statement while talking to the media after paying tribute at Rajghat.
Speaking to the media after paying tribute at Rajghat on Monday, Sonam Wangchuk said that in a democracy, every person and every minister is accountable to the public. He expressed hope that the government will fulfill its promises made during the movement and take concrete steps to make the education system more transparent, accountable and credible.
