Indian players have so far won four medals in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow. These include one gold, two silver and one bronze medal. A total of 122 Indian athletes are participating in the competition for medals this time. Jhandu Kumar won India’s first medal in Para Powerlifting. He won the Commonwealth’s first medal of this season in ‘Men’s Heavyweight’. He won the bronze medal. In weightlifting, Rishikant Singh won silver medal in men’s 60 kg weight category. He also created a new Games record in snatch. Mirabai Chanu brought the first gold medal for India.

The fourth medal for the country also came in weightlifting. Muthupandi Raja won the silver medal in the men’s 65 kg category.
