Samsung Galaxy A27 5G unveiled
Samsung has launched a new smartphone Galaxy A27 5G in its Galaxy A-series. The device is an upgraded version of the previous Galaxy A26 5G, with several significant improvements in design, performance, camera, and artificial intelligence. The company believes that this smartphone is ideal for users looking for a premium experience in a mid-range budget.
Big and smooth display experience
The Galaxy A27 5G has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. It features a refresh rate of 120Hz, which makes the experience of scrolling, gaming and watching videos extremely smooth. The new punch-hole design makes the display even more attractive.
The thickness of the phone is only 7.8 mm, making it light and comfortable to hold.
Faster performance from Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor
The Galaxy A27 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, which is based on 4nm technology. This chipset is capable of handling multitasking, gaming and AI tasks effectively.
This smartphone will be available in three storage options:
– 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
– 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
– 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
Additionally, storage can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.
Photography with triple camera setup
In terms of camera, the Galaxy A27 5G has a triple camera setup on the rear panel, which includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. It also has a 5 megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixel macro sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the phone has a 12-megapixel camera on the front, which offers better image quality.
Smart experience equipped with AI features
Samsung has included advanced AI features in this smartphone. It has Google’s Circle to Search feature, which is capable of identifying multiple objects simultaneously.
Object Eraser feature helps in removing unwanted objects in photos. Additionally, the Voice Transcription feature supports translation in 22 languages.
The device also has support for AI assistants like Google Gemini, Perplexity and Bixby.
Battery and software features
The Galaxy A27 5G has a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging. This battery is capable of providing a full day’s backup in normal use.
In terms of software, this smartphone runs on Android 16 based One UI 8.5. The company has promised to provide Android and One UI upgrades up to 6 generations and security updates for 6 years.
Dust and water protection
The phone has got IP64 rating, which makes it safe from dust and light water splashes. Additionally, support for Samsung Knox Vault strengthens data security.
