New Delhi. When Dharmendra Pradhan reached Parliament House today after resigning from the post of Union Education Minister, he was warmly welcomed by BJP and NDA MPs there. Slogans of Dharmendra Pradhan Zindabad were raised. He was honored by wearing Paag (traditional cap) on his head. Dharmendra Pradhan greeted everyone with folded hands in a smiling manner. However, the opposition appeared uncomfortable with this. Meanwhile, Dharmendra Pradhan and Congress leader Jairam Ramesh met in the corridor of Parliament House. Jairam Ramesh expressed his condolences to Pradhan regarding his resignation and said, ‘It happens’, to which Pradhan replied, ‘Nothing happens’. I am a street fighter, not an AC room activist.

Even before this, when Dharmendra Pradhan had resigned on Saturday, many big leaders of BJP including Union Minister Kiren Rijiju had posted posts on X in which they had praised Dharmendra Pradhan. He had said that whatever decisions Dharmendra Pradhan took during his tenure, keeping the improvement in the education world and the interest of the youth paramount, are praiseworthy. Let us tell you that the protesters and Congress, who were protesting at Delhi Jantar Mantar in the NEET UP paper leak case, were adamant on demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. After which Dharmendra Pradhan had resigned.

Pradhan had issued a letter to the youth in which it was written that anti-national forces should not take advantage of the situation that has arisen at Jantar Mantar and in the country, the unity of the country should be maintained, the future of even a single student of India should not get entangled in legal complications, our children should spend their time in studies, focus on building their career, considering this, I have sent my resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
