Strong surge in stock market, Sensex rises 776 points, Nifty near 24000
Mumbai27 july. The domestic stock market, which saw the end of the last trading week amid a huge decline for five consecutive sessions, welcomed the new week with a strong welcome and due to the sharp fall in the price of crude oil, both the benchmark indices closed with a good gain of about one percent on Monday. While BSE Sensex rose by 776 points, NSE Nifty gained 228 points and reached near 24,000.
Sensex 1.02 with a percentage increase 76,835.78 closed on points
Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)’s benchmark index Sensex based on 30 shares closed at 76,835.78 points with a gain of 776.01 points or 1.02 percent. During trading, the index at one point surged 841.74 points to hit the day’s high at 76,901.51. Among the companies associated with Sensex, shares of 28 remained in the green mark while only two showed weakness.

Whereas the National Stock Exchange (NSE) sensitive index Nifty based on 50 shares closed at 23,995.95 points with a gain of 228.50 points or 0.96 percent. Among the Nifty related companies, 44 stocks strengthened while six declined.
The BSE Smallcap Select index, representing smaller companies in the broader market, closed with a gain of 1.71 per cent and the BSE Midcap Select index, representing mid-sized companies, closed with a gain of 1.65 per cent.
Increase in investors’ capital by Rs 5.10 lakh crore
Due to all-round buying, an increase of about Rs 5.10 lakh crore was recorded in investors’ capital. In fact, the total market capitalization of companies listed on BSE increased by Rs 5,10,561.8 crore to Rs 4,80,80,037.04 crore (about five lakh crore dollars).
Eternal has the highest share 5.63% up
Among the companies included in the Sensex group, Eternal’s shares rose the most by 5.63 percent. Apart from this, shares of InterGlobe Aviation, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Asian Paints and Mahindra & Mahindra also rose well. On the other hand, shares of HDFC Bank, Power Grid and Axis Bank remained in loss.
price of brent crude 9.40% broken 87.64 dollars per barrel
The price of global oil benchmark Brent crude fell 9.40 percent to $ 87.64 per barrel. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 3,892.77 crore on Friday.
