Abaan Ahmed Funeral: The body of Abaan Ahmed, son of mafia leader Atiq Ahmed, was buried at the Kasari-Masari graveyard in Prayagraj late Saturday evening. The funeral rites concluded around 7 p.m. after Maghrib prayers. Abaan’s brothers, Ali and Umar, who had come from Jhansi and Lucknow jails, bid their younger brother a tearful farewell. A large number of people arrived at the graveyard to bury Abaan. Thousands gathered at the scene. The police and administration had made elaborate security arrangements to prevent any untoward incident.
Amid reports of the funeral, heavy footfall continued in the cemetery premises. Numerous aspects of the death of Atiq Ahmed’s youngest son are emerging, sparking a flurry of discussions in the area. A large number of family members and locals gathered at the Kasari-Masari graveyard to bid Abaan a final farewell. Security has been increased in the entire area to prevent any untoward incident.
Both brothers arrived at the graveyard on custody parole from jail.
The last rites of Aban, the youngest son of mafia mafia leader Atiq, were performed at the Kasari-Masari cemetery in Prayagraj. Locals are saying that while the mother may not even see her son’s face for the last time, at least the two elder brothers, Umar and Ali, have finally gotten a chance to see their younger brother’s face.
Meanwhile, the police and intelligence agencies were on high alert. Intelligence agencies were constantly monitoring whether the absconding Shaista Parveen might sneak into the cemetery to see her son for the last time or bid him farewell. Therefore, every visitor was closely monitored.

The situation outside the cemetery escalated when Atiq’s eldest son, Mohammad Umar, arrived to attend his younger brother’s funeral. Police had barricaded the cemetery for security reasons and had placed a barricade. However, as soon as Umar’s convoy arrived, the crowd of supporters and the public suddenly became unruly.
The crowd tore down the police barricades and tried to forcibly enter the cemetery. During this period, heated arguments and altercations ensued between Atiq’s supporters and police officers. However, police officers quickly brought the situation under control and, using additional force, pushed the crowd back from the main entrance of the cemetery.

The crowd pressure increased significantly after the second son, Ali Ahmed, also arrived at the Kasari-Masari cemetery from Jhansi jail. The gathering of supporters continued to grow due to the public appearance of Atiq’s two elder sons together. Given the sensitivity of the matter, the police administration turned the entire cemetery and surrounding areas into a cantonment.
A large number of police, PAC, and Rapid Action Force personnel were deployed at the scene. Intelligence cameras and police officers kept a close watch. The administration tried to ensure that the funeral process was conducted peacefully and the law and order situation remained under complete control.
