Why does a man lose his mind after failure? This story of an elephant will give the answer
We have often heard that the elephant is the strongest animal in the world. An elephant weighing thousands of kilos can uproot even a large tree. But have you ever wondered why such a mighty elephant cannot break a simple rope tied to its legs?
The answer to this question is not only about the elephant, but also has a deep connection with our lives.
A person went for a walk in the forest. There he saw many big elephants tied with a thin rope. Surprisingly, the rope was not strong enough for the elephant to break. But none of the elephants tried to escape.
The man asked the mahout, “Why does such a strong elephant not break this rope?”
Mahawat’s answer was memorable for life.
He said, “When an elephant is young, it is tied with a similar rope. It tries to break free several times, but it does not have the strength to break the rope. After repeated failures, one day it believes that breaking the rope is impossible for it.”
Time passes… the elephant grows up… his strength multiplies… now he can break the rope in an instant. But he never tries again, because he has a belief in his mind since childhood that “I cannot break this rope.”
Same thing happens in our life too…
Often we also fail once or so and assume that this job is not for us.
Get low marks in exams…Loss in business…Failure in job…Harm in relationships…
And then the mind gradually creates a false belief that “I can’t…”, “I have bad luck…” or “I will never succeed.”
In fact times have changed, conditions have changed and our capabilities have also increased. But the old beliefs sitting in the mind do not allow us to move forward.
What does astrology also say?
According to astrology, not all times in life are the same. Sometimes there are constant difficulties due to unfavorable planetary positions, while after the change of time new doors of success open.
But if a person hangs on to old failures and doesn’t try again, he may be deprived of success despite the good times.
Life’s greatest lesson
There are often no ropes tying our feet… but old failures, fears and negative beliefs tying our minds.
The day we break this invisible rope tied to our mind, that day we will realize that we always had the strength to move forward.
Remember…the bond is in the thought, not the rope. And when the thought changes, the whole life changes.
