Niharika NM left the film due to intimacy clause, said- ‘I was not comfortable on-screen’

Before the release, Niharika has made many important revelations about her acting career. He told that at the beginning of his career he had left a big film only because it involved an intimacy clause.

Left the film due to intimacy clause

In a recent interview, Niharika NM told that she had received an offer for a film from a reputed director. After audition and look test, he was finalized for the film. While signing the contract, he came to know that the film included a condition of intimate scenes.

Niharika said that she had clearly told the makers that she was not comfortable doing intimate scenes on-screen. Initially the makers suggested the option of body double, but the actors concerned were not ready for it. Ultimately the situation became such that Niharika decided to leave the film.

‘Acting was always my dream’

Niharika told that making funny videos on social media was not her ultimate destination. His dream was always to act.

She said, “I came to Mumbai three-four years ago. I trained with a production house for about three years. Studied at a film school and also have a theater background. I was always interested in acting and wanted to make my career in this field.”

Was troubled by some standards of Bollywood

Niharika told that initially she gave many auditions in the Hindi film industry, but later she turned her focus towards South cinema.

According to her, she was troubled by some of the standards set for women. She said that she did not like that an actress was selected on the basis of her looks or skin tone. For this reason he started looking for opportunities in South Indian films.

Left many big films due to contract

Niharika told that later she signed a contract for three films with director Karthik Subbaraj’s production house Stone Bench Films. During this period, she received offers from many big films of South India, but due to contract, she could not be a part of those films.

He called it the biggest regret of his career, although said he was happy for the artists who made those films.

Niharika ready for Bollywood debut

Niharika NM made her international debut in 2023 as a guest voice artist in the seventh season of the American animated series ‘Big Mouth’. After this, she started acting with the Tamil film ‘Perusu’ and then appeared in films like ‘Mitra Mandali’ and ‘Hridayam Murali’.

Now she is going to debut in Bollywood with ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’. Vivek B. This comedy-drama film, directed by Aggarwal, also stars Raghav Juyal, Sanjay Kapoor and Nikki Walia in important roles. This film will be released in theaters on July 30.
