Prime Minister Narendra Modi had posted a video addressing the students of the country in the late night of July 24. This video of PM Modi quickly went viral on Instagram and created a world record for the most views within 24 hours. In this video, PM Modi had said- “Paper leak is not a normal topic.
This is very painful for lakhs of students and their parents. Many steps were taken regarding the paper leak. Have come to catch the criminals. He is in jail. Our most important responsibility was to ensure that the students do not have a wasted year. It was very important to conduct the examinations immediately. The government has now used all its power and made arrangements to conduct the examination of 22 lakh students in the shortest possible time and just five-six days ago, on 19th, the result was declared.
There are also happy news of students passing out across the country, but we are not among those who feel satisfied from there.” On the instructions of PM Modi, Anti Paper Leak Bill has also been brought in the Parliament in which provision for creation of fast track court and strict punishment has been made.
