‘They are as much an enemy as India’, says Pak Defense Minister on infernal killings in Occupied Kashmir
Pakistan government is voting in occupied Kashmir by force. The brutality of the Pakistan army is increasing there. Protesters are being ‘killed’ indiscriminately. Pak Defense Minister Khwaja Asif cleared all these hellish murders. Said, “They are enemies like India.”
Residents of Occupied Kashmir have been protesting against the repression of Pakistan Army for a long time. The situation became more dire after the announcement of elections there recently. Many protestors lost their lives in the firing of security forces while protesting in the streets. The brutality of the Pak army in suppressing the protest. India has repeatedly roared against such activities. Strongly condemned Islamabad. In this situation, Occupied Kashmir became ablaze in the first phase of voting last Monday. New Delhi is condemned again. Khwaja then said, “I put Azad Kashmir protesters on par with India. Like India, they are enemies.”
The first phase of the 3-phase elections in Occupied Kashmir was held on Monday. As soon as the elections started, reports of violence started coming from various places. Burning of ballots took place in several places. Areas like Rawalkot, Kotli became virtual battlefields. The Joint Awami Action Committee had been protesting in Rawalkot for the past 52 days. The security forces were accused of firing indiscriminately to quell the protests. The protestors alleged that the police opened fire on the peaceful march. At least 20 people are said to have died in this attack. Many people are fighting with death due to gunshot wounds.
