Let the fasting be sweet in the holy shravan, add kheer-halua to the hunger of the heart and stomach, here are 5 recipes

১. Makhana Kheer
Ingredients:

• Makhana – 1 cup
• Full-fat milk – 1 liter
• Sugar – 4–5 tbsp
• Cardamom powder – half teaspoon
• Cashew, Almond and Pistachio Grinds – 2 tbsp

Heat ghee in a pan, lightly fry the dry makhana for 2-3 minutes. Boil milk in another vessel and wait until it thickens. Once done, add makhana and let it boil for 10-15 minutes. Mix sugar, cardamom powder and ground almonds and stir for another 2-3 minutes.

Makhana Kheer.

2. Sabudana milk
Ingredients:

• Sabudana – half a cup
• Milk – 1 liter
• Sugar – 4–5 tbsp
• Cardamom powder – half teaspoon
• Raisins – 1 tbsp
• Cashew nuts – 1 tbsp

The method is similar to Makhana Kheer. Soak sabudana for 2-3 hours. When the milk boils and thickens, add sabudana to it. When the sago grains become transparent, mix sugar, cardamom powder, raisins and cashew nuts and stir for 5 minutes. Kheer is ready when the macho becomes macho.

3. Coconut Laddu
Ingredients:

• Corano Coconut – 2 cups
• Condensed milk – 1 cup
• Ghee – 1 tsp
• Cardamom powder – half teaspoon

Heat ghee in a pot and stir it with grated coconut for 2 minutes. Add condensed milk and cardamom powder slowly and keep stirring till it thickens. You have to keep stirring, or the lumps may curl. When the mixture cools down, make small laddus.

4. flour halwa
Ingredients:

• Flour – 1 cup
• Sugar – 5-6 tbsp
• Cardamom powder – half teaspoon
• Cashew nuts and raisins – 2 tbsp

Heat ghee in a pot, pour flour in it. Keep stirring until golden. Boil water and sugar in another vessel and prepare syrup. Slowly pour in the seera flour, keep stirring. When the makho becomes mushy, add cardamom powder and dry fruits. When the ghee starts releasing, drain and serve.

5. Dry Fruit Barfi
Ingredients:

• Dates without seeds – 1 cup
• Cashews – half a cup
• Almonds – half a cup
• Pistachios – 2 tbsp
• Walnuts – 2 tbsp
• Cardamom powder – a pinch

Blend all the dry fruits and dates together. Heat ghee and stir the mixture for 2-3 minutes. Add cardamom powder. Spread ghee on a tray. Pour the mixture into the tray. When cool, set for 1 hour, cut into desired pieces.
