Political game again in Maharashtra? Parth and Praful Patel met Sharad Pawar

The politics of Maharashtra is once again taking a turn. This time both factions of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) are meeting to unite. On Tuesday, NCP leaders Parth Pawar and Praful Patel held a meeting with NCP (SP) Chief Sharad Pawar in Delhi. However, what happened between the two factions has not been revealed yet.

But, in the last few days, the meetings being held between the two factions have intensified the political discussion on the efforts to bring the two factions of NCP together.

Round of talks started again

This meeting between the leaders of both the factions is important because after the efforts for merger of both the factions slowed down in recent weeks, there are reports of resumption of talks between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar camps.

Talks on possible merger

It is reported that efforts are being made to reunite Sharad Pawar’s NCP (SP) and Ajit Pawar led NCP. According to reports, before any political change, talks are going on on a possible merger of the two factions.

Sharad Pawar met PM Modi

However, Sharad Pawar has said that both the factions cannot be united. Last week, there were reports that despite public denials and intermittent interruptions, efforts were being made behind the scenes to reunite Sharad Pawar’s faction and Ajit Pawar’s faction.

Actually, this meeting took place after Sharad Pawar’s meeting with PM Narendra Modi last week.
