Yogi quipped, asked- How many have seen Ravi Kishan-Kaalibari Baba's film?

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday inaugurated a 2-lane road built at a cost of about Rs 70 crore in Gorakhpur district and dedicated it to the public. With the commencement of this route from Green City to Madhopur Dam, the people of the area will get great relief in transportation.

The Chief Minister said that now the changing Gorakhpur is clearly visible through development projects. He said that the roads where people once had difficulty in walking, where narrow roads and waterlogging were major problems, are now being constructed with wide roads, four-lane roads and flyovers. The objective of these development works is to ease the lives of the people and provide them better transportation facilities.

During the program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took a dig at Gorakhpur MP and actor Ravi Kishan in his familiar style. He said that the MP did not give a speech today. Looks like he has hosted a feast for more people. After this the Chief Minister asked the people present how many people had gone to the banquet at Ravi Kishan's place.

After this, CM Yogi asked people how many people have seen Ravi Kishan's film and how many people have seen 'Kalibadi Baba' film. After the reaction of the people, the Chief Minister said smilingly that both are equal.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that with the construction of this road, people of the area will not need to pass through Gorakhpur city to go towards Sonauli, Maharajganj and other areas. This will also reduce the traffic pressure within the city.

He said that construction of four lane road from Transport Nagar to Madhopur is also going on near Rajghat bridge. Flyover is proposed in Domingarh. After the completion of these projects, people going towards Lucknow will not need to pass through the inner parts of the city. They will be able to go directly towards Lucknow through four lane bypass. Similarly, passengers going towards Sonauli and Nepal will also get smooth connectivity.

CM Yogi said that the road network in Gorakhpur is continuously being strengthened. Various parts of the city are being connected by four-lane roads and many flyovers have been completed, while work on many is in progress. Common citizens will get direct benefits of these projects.

The Chief Minister said that many big road related projects have been completed in Gorakhpur in the recent past. This is the third major project related to the road sector, which has been dedicated to the public within a month. He said that now Gorakhpur is not only seeing development plans, but the impact of those plans is also visible on the ground.

Before the public meeting, the Chief Minister reached near the Green City turn on the Gorakhpur-Sonauli road. Here, amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras, he inaugurated the newly constructed road by cutting the ribbon and unveiled the stone slab.
